Overview

Sip ("the App") is a hydration and activity tracking app for iPhone, developed by Biao Wang ("the Developer", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is stored, and the choices you have. We believe in radical data minimalism: Sip collects the bare minimum required to function, stores it only on your device, and never transmits your data to any server or third party.

Data We Collect

The App collects only the data you actively provide or grant access to:

Water intake entries — amounts (in milliliters) and timestamps you log via the App.
Daily hydration and steps goals — the targets you set in the App's settings.
Your name (optional) — only if you choose to enter it during onboarding or in Settings. You can skip this entirely.
Apple Health data (with your permission) — if you authorize HealthKit access, the App reads step count, walking/running distance, active energy burned, and flights climbed for the current day to display activity context. The App also writes your logged water intake into Apple Health so it appears under "Nutrition → Water".
Notification permission (optional) — if you enable hydration reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. No data is sent to a server.

The App does not collect: your location, contacts, photos, microphone audio, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, IP address, analytics events, crash logs, or any account-style information. There is no account, no login, and no signup.

Where Your Data Is Stored

On your device only — All entries are stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. The data does not leave your device.
In Apple Health — Water entries you log are written to your local Apple Health database, which is encrypted on-device and only synced to your other Apple devices via Apple's own iCloud encryption (managed entirely by Apple, not by Sip).

No data leaves your device to any server controlled by the Developer or any third party. The Developer has no servers, no cloud storage, no analytics provider, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking. The Developer cannot read your hydration data, your name, your goals, or any HealthKit information.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone, ever. Because the App has no servers, there is no data on our side to share.

Your Choices and Controls

Delete your data — Uninstalling the App removes all local data on the device. There is no cloud backup to additionally delete.
Revoke HealthKit access — Go to the Apple Health app → Sharing → Apps → Sip to control what Sip can read and write.
Disable notifications — Go to iOS Settings → Notifications → Sip, or toggle reminders off inside the App's settings.
Edit your name and goals — Open the App → Settings to change or clear the name and goals you entered.

Children

Sip is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, regardless of age. Because the App does not transmit data to any server, there is no risk of data exposure for children using the App.

Changes to This Policy

If material changes are made to this Privacy Policy, the "Last updated" date at the top will be revised, and a notice will be shown in the App's About section. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance.

本应用不会收集:您的位置、通讯录、照片、麦克风音频、广告标识符、设备标识符、IP 地址、分析事件、崩溃日志或任何账户信息。本应用没有账户系统,无需登录,无需注册。

您的数据存储在哪里

仅在您的设备本地 — 所有记录通过 Apple 的 SwiftData 框架存储在您 iPhone 本地,数据不会离开您的设备。
Apple 健康 — 您记录的饮水量会写入您本机的 Apple 健康数据库,该数据库本地加密,仅通过 Apple 自身的 iCloud 加密机制同步至您的其他 Apple 设备(完全由 Apple 管理,与 Sip 无关)。

没有任何数据会离开您的设备,前往开发者或任何第三方控制的服务器。开发者没有自己的服务器,没有云端存储,没有数据分析服务,没有广告 SDK,没有任何第三方追踪机制。开发者无法读取您的饮水数据、您的名字、您的目标,也无法读取任何 HealthKit 信息。

数据共享

我们不会以任何方式与任何人共享、出售、出租或交换您的数据。由于本应用没有任何服务器,我们这边根本没有可共享的数据。

您的选择与控制

删除您的数据 — 卸载本应用即可删除设备上的所有本地数据。没有云端备份需要额外删除。
撤销 HealthKit 权限 — 打开 Apple 健康应用 → 共享 → 应用 → Sip,管理 Sip 可以读写的数据类型。
关闭通知 — 前往"iOS 设置 → 通知 → Sip",或在应用内的设置中关闭喝水提醒。
修改名字与目标 — 打开应用 → 设置,可修改或清除您输入的名字与每日目标。

关于儿童

Sip 适合一般用户使用,不会主动收集任何用户(无论年龄)的数据。由于本应用不向任何服务器传输数据,即便是儿童使用本应用,也不存在数据外泄的风险。

政策变更

若本隐私政策有实质性变更,我们会更新页面顶部的"最近更新"日期,并在应用的"关于"页面中显示通知。变更后您继续使用本应用,即视为接受变更。
